Granite Works is not an ordinary countertop fabrication company. Established late in 2007, while the country was in the trenches with the worst global financial crisis since the WWII, the Valente brothers were laid off and decided to take on the challenges of starting their own company – after all, there were very little options available at the time. It is safe to say that the pillars of our success are sheer resolve and the ability to apply our core values to our daily business activities.
Today, Granite Works fabricates and installs over a thousand new kitchen countertops every year – a considerable amount for a small business started with two guys and an old pick-up truck just a few years ago. Our company has become a local leader in natural and man-made stone fabrication. Furthermore, we are also a premier kitchen cabinetry dealer with the best online reputation in the industry – which is proof to the effort we put into each individual project.
We have always aspired to create a workplace where talented individuals collaborate to deliver extraordinary results to our customers and business partners. We believe that the best way to build and to maintain trust is to conduct every element of our business according to the highest standards of integrity. Our ability to do so rests on the individual ability of our staff; to that end, we select our people based not just on their skills, accomplishments and potential, but also on their principles and values. A commitment to integrity and ethical behavior is a critical factor in our decision making process regarding professional advancement and compensation. The goal to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations has always been embedded in our core values and we are pleased to state that it still is the cornerstone of our existence.
